We encourage scientific collaboration on all levels and contribute to the future of science that is open and independent. That is why sciNote is an open source software.
Open source software code is available at GitHub and can be reviewed or improved by the scientific community. We might say that an open source software is independent. This means that you are not tied to us as a vendor or owner of the software. Even better, the whole scientific community is free to develop add-ons, improve the software and its weak points and maintain it. In a way, this type of software is peer-reviewed.
