Based on the structure SciNote provides you to organize your data, Manuscript Writer generates a draft of your scientific manuscript.
When you create your free account in SciNote, Manuscript Writer add-on will automatically be activated for you. The Create manuscript button will appear in the upper right corner of your SciNote dashboard:
Once your data is organized in SciNote by projects, experiments and tasks, Manuscript Writer will be able to give you a head start for your writing: a draft of your manuscript!
The generated draft will include the introduction section with references – based on the DOI numbers of open access references and keywords of your choice. Materials and methods section will be generated based on your project and experiments’ data in SciNote. Results section will contain your saved results.
The discussion section is not included in the draft as it is the section that requires your unique understanding of the specific subject at hand and experience to draw scientific conclusions. SciNote Manuscript Writer can gather existing data and prepare a valid draft, but it cannot draw new ideas, hypotheses or conclusions out of it.
It might take from 1 - 24 hours for the draft to be generated and sent to your inbox.
Please note that the aim of the draft is to give you a head start and in no way represents the final version ready for submission.
The number of drafts you can generate is limited up to 5 for the free accounts. If you are among the Premium users, you have an unlimited number of drafts.
