You can upload any type of file to a protocol step, such as .doc, .txt, .csv, .xls, .jpeg, .png, .ppt, .pdf, ODF Documents (.odt, .ods, .odp), etc.
To upload a file to a protocol step, click the Edit step icon (to the right of the step name).
Then open the Files tab and simply drag and drop your file or click Browse to add. You can also drag and drop multiple files from your computer or paste images from a clipboard.
When you finish editing a step don't forget to click Save.
One of the advantages of SciNote is that it is integrated with Microsoft Office Online, so you are able to upload and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files within SciNote. All changes in each file will be automatically saved as you type. This enables you to invite others to review and co-author a file in real-time while making sure that everyone is working on the latest version.
