In SciNote, you can create coloured tags to mark your tasks, or to quickly tell what a task is about. In general, they make it easier for you to identify the tasks.
To create your tags, click on the tag icon in the upper right corner on the task (see the image below).
To create a new tag, simply click on the New button. The tag will automatically appear. The pen icon enables you to edit the tag i.e. rename it (e.g. hazard biological material, aseptic work, DNA, RNA hood, etc.) and select its color.
When you are done editing your tag, don't forget to save it. To save a tag click on the check-mark icon (Save tag).
If you want to remove a tag, click the x symbol (Cancel changes to the tag). You can also delete the tag entirely and remove it from your list of tags by clicking the trash-bin symbol (Permanently delete tags from all tasks).
Once your tag is created, you will be able to add it to your tasks from a drop-down list. Select your tag and click Add.
